My name is Hicham BAKIR. I am an independent IT professional registered since March 2009 in Lausanne, Switzerland under the name "Hicham Bakir informaticien conseil". I am 39 years old and have been working in the IT industry since 1994.

I provide consulting services and technical assistance to mid size and large organizations for any matter related to their information system infrastructure.
These services can be provided either on a time and material basis, or on a fixed time fixed price basis.
My main expertise area is the Java/J2ee architecture applied to various businesses on different technologies. The j2ee application servers I most used are Websphere and Jboss. I also worked extensively on jsr-168 and jsr-286 portlets with Websphere Portal and more recently with Liferay.
My current research topics are cloud computing and scalability.
